Our team uses measurements of physical properties and geophysical fields, mainly in the domain of magnetism, to study various surface and global processes in Earth and Planetary Sciences.
More specifically paleomagnetism and rock magnetism is applied to datations, source identification, paleoclimatic proxy, weathering and soil dynamics, pollution studies, natural hazards (landslides, impacts, volcanic eruptions, ...), archeology, planetary surface exploration, meteorites, etc.

Topography (colors), magnetic field anomalies (black contours), impact pressure (grey contours, GPa) originating from large impacts (Argyre, Hellas) on the Mars surface
We study the variations of the earth magnetic field direction and intensity in the Past, and in particular correlate it with cosmogenic isotopes fluctuations.
We also work on the delineation of subsurface structures using geophysical fiels (magnetic, electric and acoustic domains).
