SUMMARY:Journée de la Transition
DESCRIPTION:Un premier questionnaire auprès des 250 cérégien.ne.s a permis de recueillir le positionnement et l’état d’esprit de chacun sur les sujets de cette transition\, ce qu’il attend ou pas de son laboratoire\, son engagement et les actions concrètes possibles à son niveau. Il s’avère que 76% des agents sont prêts à changer leurs habitudes au travail pour réduire l’empreinte environnementale. Sur 100 participants à la session interne CEREGE « Ma Terre en 180 Min »\, 60% estiment les leviers de réductions inspirants pour des mesures réalisables. \nDans cette continuité\, la Journée Transition du CEREGE le 12 juin prochain\, vise à poser la réflexion de façon collective et à étudier les actions concrètes à mettre en place pour réduire l’impact environnemental du CEREGE.

DESCRIPTION:Les équipes encordées font l’objet d’un tutorat collectif par les intervenants chercheurs et enseignants-chercheurs des différents projets
. \nDans le cadre de cette cordée nous accueillons 30 filles du collège de Volx au CEREGE afin participer à des ateliers scientifiques et visiter les laboratoires. \nPour cette cordée entièrement féminine\, « Les sciences au féminin » tendent à répondre à la problématique d’autocensure des filles dans de nombreuses filières scientifiques.\nL’objectif est de comprendre l’évolution de l’égalité homme-femme dans les milieux de la recherche et des sciences\, de parler d’orientation et de diversités des métiers.

DESCRIPTION:“Glacier reconstructions from the Chilean Fjords to the Cordillera Blanca\, Peru” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Andes are the longest mountain chain on Earth with summits reaching up to 7000 meters above sea-level. From the Tropics to the southern tip of South America\, the Andes are speckled with cirque and valley glaciers sometimes merging to form Ice Caps and Ice Fields. During the last glacial cycle glaciers were more expansive. Though the timing of ice extent has been determined with significant effort at select locations\, ice thickness remains poorly constrained. Particularly in the Fjords of southern Chile terrestrial geochronological data is missing for ca. 2000 km of the former Patagonian Ice Sheet western margin (extent and thickness). Likewise\, though recent studies have attempted to constrain Holocene glacier dynamics in southern Chile\, Argentina and Peru\, the lack of a latitudinal profile of glacier extension and retreat hampers our understanding of local\, regional and inter-hemispheric climate interactions. The presentation will provide new insights into glacier geometry changes in the Fjords of south-western Chile parallel to introducing the HIELO project\, which aims to constrain Holocene glacier dynamics from southern Patagonia to Peru.
