Access to Online Resources

  • Koha is the AMU library catalog.
  • The « Système Universitaire de Documentation » (Sudoc) catalogue is a French collective catalogue created by Higher Educational and Research libraries and resource centres. There are nearly 13 million bibliographic records in this catalogue describing all kinds of document (books, dissertations, reviews, electronic resources, audio-visual documents, microfiches, maps, scores, manuscripts (not in Calames) and very old books.)

Access to online resources :

BibCnrs : BibCnrs is the portal providing access to the CNRS’s digital document resources.

It is the result of the overhaul of the 6 former CNRS portals – BiblioSciences, BiblioSHS, BiblioST2i, BiblioPlanets, BiblioVie and TitaneSciences. This new portal improves the content, infrastructure, management of communities, access and search functions available. Access is now provided via just one interface for the whole scientific community at https://bib.cnrs.fr/. Each of the 10 CNRS institutes also has a specific interface dedicated to its disciplinary field.

How do I sign in with my login and password?

You mainly sign in using the Sesame login/password. Sesame is the CNRS password management application. This login/password can notably be used to sign into the following CNRS applications – Core, Simbad, Agate, Sirhus, Labintel, etc.

The CNRS has set up JANUS, an identity provider, to manage authentication and rights management for the access to applications for CNRS personnel. This identity provider has now integrated the “Education/Recherche” federation. All staff from CNRS units can sign in on JANUS as long as they are registered in the CNRS Labintel directory with a valid e-mail address.

If you do not have a Sesame account yet, you can still temporarily use the portal access code which you used for the BiblioSciences, BiblioSHS, BiblioST2i, BiblioPlanets, BiblioVie and TitaneSciences portals.

Search AMU's Libraries Resources :  Service Commun de Documentation

On the AMU libraries webpages, you can use a discovery tool called Summon (= "Livres, revues, thèses, articles...").

Use the library's discovery service Summon to:
- find book and journals titles and other items available online or in print via the Library Catalogue.
- search for Articles + more across a wide range of full text resources via the library's discovery service. This allows you to search within books and journal articles to find relevant content.

Help and guidance on using Library Search is available online via the library guide : http://bu.univ-amu.libguides.com/summon

Databases A-Z

Use the Databases A-Z List to select a specific resource for comprehensive searching.
