Sabatier<\/b><\/span><\/p><p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">La morphodynamique littorale concerne la boucle interactive entre les flux liquides, le transport s\u00e9dimentaire et les changements morphologiques. <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Les membres de l\u2019\u00e9quipe abordent ces th\u00e9matiques selon une double perspective, \u00e0 la fois fondamentale et appliqu\u00e9e. Les travaux en hydrodynamique se concentrent sur le lien entre la houle et les courants en zones c\u00f4ti\u00e8res et lagunaires, en cherchant \u00e0 d\u00e9crire les processus <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">et leurs implications s\u00e9dimentaires\u00a0: compr\u00e9hension de la diffusivit\u00e9 turbulente, du transport solide, des sismoturbidites, des \u00e9coulements sur fonds complexes rigides ou flexibles. La morphodynamique s&#8217;applique \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles de temps et d&#8217;espaces, <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">avec une attention particuli\u00e8re port\u00e9e aux <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">connectivit\u00e9s s\u00e9dimentaires entre les fleuves et les littoraux, notamment les deltas, <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">ainsi qu\u2019entre la plage et l\u2019avant-c\u00f4te<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">. Ces recherches constituent une priorit\u00e9 du th\u00e8me dans une vision globalisante incluant l&#8217;impact de la mont\u00e9e de la mer. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Ce th\u00e8me aborde \u00e9galement des aspects li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#8217;ing\u00e9nierie c\u00f4ti\u00e8re et aux solutions fond\u00e9es sur la Nature \u00e0 travers la production de connaissances concernant \u00e0 la fois les hydrosyt\u00e8mes \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes naturels (herbiers, mangroves marais maritimes, coraux, \u2026) et les projets de rechargement artificiel en sables, les m\u00e9canismes naturels de transferts de sable (petits fonds et lagunes) ainsi que le calibrage de dunes de protection c\u00f4ti\u00e8re (submersions), dans une perspective d&#8217;identification de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 et de la r\u00e9silience des c\u00f4tes. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Les zones d&#8217;\u00e9tudes concernent les rivages de M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, les syst\u00e8mes c\u00f4tiers d&#8217;Afrique (nord, ouest, centrale et est), <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">d\u2019Asie<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">, d\u2019Oc\u00e9anie et d&#8217;Am\u00e9rique du Sud sous influence amazonienne.<\/span><a name=\"_GoBack\"><\/a><\/p><p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">Personnes impliqu\u00e9es<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\"> : Anthony, E.
