La caract\u00e9risation hydrologique et g\u00e9omorphologique de ces syst\u00e8mes et des conditions responsables de leur variabilit\u00e9 est abord\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de mesures sur le terrain, de la mod\u00e9lisation, et de l\u2019utilisation d\u2019outils de t\u00e9l\u00e9d\u00e9tection.<\/p><p>Ces approches permettent notamment d\u2019\u00e9tudier l\u2019\u00e9volution des paysages et des environnements littoraux, fluviaux et zones humides face \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation du niveau de la mer, aux dynamiques s\u00e9dimentaires, aux changements climatiques pass\u00e9s, \u00e0 l\u2019occupation humaine depuis le Quaternaire, mais aussi l\u2019impact des temp\u00eates sur les environnements naturels afin de d\u00e9finir des lois de comportements de plages utiles \u00e0 la pr\u00e9vision.<\/p><p>Nous mesurons aussi les transferts s\u00e9dimentaires qui contr\u00f4lent \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle la morphodynamique des rivi\u00e8res, des plages, des mangroves et des deltas, en particulier pour reconstituer les paysages du pass\u00e9 afin de comprendre les relations Hommes\/Milieux au cours du Quaternaire et des p\u00e9riodes historiques.<\/p><p>Notre axe de recherche int\u00e8gre les mutations holoc\u00e8nes \u00e0 r\u00e9centes de ces syst\u00e8mes, li\u00e9es ou non aux diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et des am\u00e9nagements \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle des bassins versants et des littoraux. Les liens d\u2019alimentation s\u00e9dimentaire depuis la source en amont jusqu\u2019aux puits estuariens et delta\u00efques sont particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9tudi\u00e9s. Deux autres volets importants de l\u2019axe sont les al\u00e9as et risques (\u00e9v\u00e9nements de haute intensit\u00e9, crues, mouvements de terrain, torrentialit\u00e9, cyclones, tsunamis, inondations) et la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9, notamment celle des deltas, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle globale.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
