class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><strong>Contexte<\/strong><\/h3><p>Plusieurs \u00e9tudes r\u00e9centes montrent que la distribution g\u00e9ographique de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces continentales peut \u00eatre expliqu\u00e9e par un nombre limit\u00e9 de <strong>dispersions intercontinentales<\/strong> (et notamment \u00e0 travers les oc\u00e9ans), et que ces \u00e9pisodes de dispersion deviendront de plus en plus fr\u00e9quents face au changement climatique actuel.<\/p><p>Les m\u00e9canismes contr\u00f4lant ces dispersions sont n\u00e9anmoins mal connus et les dispersions interoc\u00e9aniques sont aujourd\u2019hui consid\u00e9r\u00e9es comme un processus rarissime et souvent al\u00e9atoire.<\/p><p>Il existe pourtant plusieurs exemples de dispersion intercontinentale pass\u00e9es qui impliquent de nombreuses esp\u00e8ces, de mani\u00e8re r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es et sur une petite \u00e9chelle de temps (quelques millions d&#8217;ann\u00e9es). De r\u00e9centes d\u00e9couvertes pal\u00e9ontologiques montrent qu\u2019au cours d\u2019une p\u00e9riode de bouleversements climatiques y a 40 \u00e0 34 millions d\u2019ann\u00e9es, primates anthropo\u00efdes et rongeurs asiatiques travers\u00e8rent 500 km de l\u2019oc\u00e9an N\u00e9otethys, entre Eurasie et Afrique, pour rejoindre l\u2019Afrique du Nord, puis 1500 km de l\u2019oc\u00e9an Atlantique pour rejoindre l\u2019Am\u00e9rique du Sud.<\/p><p><strong>Le projet ERC Consolidator Grant (CoG) DISPERSAL<\/strong> a pour but de documenter et comprendre les m\u00e9canismes des dispersions interoc\u00e9aniques en r\u00e9solvant ces simples questions :<\/p><ul><li><p>Comment primates et rongeurs ont-ils pu <strong>traverser deux oc\u00e9ans ?<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p>Ces dispersions ont-elles \u00e9t\u00e9 contr\u00f4l\u00e9s \/ favoris\u00e9s par des <strong>facteurs tectoniques et climatiques ? <\/strong><\/p><\/li><li><p><strong>Peut-on mod\u00e9liser <\/strong>(et pr\u00e9dire) leurs dispersions <strong>?<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-27912\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2-300x138.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"465\" height=\"213\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2-300x138.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2-1024x469.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2-768x352.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2-1536x704.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2-18x8.jpg 18w, https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2-1320x605.jpg 1320w, https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/map_global_new2.jpg 1793w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 465px) 100vw, 465px\" \/><\/p><p>DISPERSAL est dirig\u00e9 par <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/alexislicht.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexis Licht<\/a> <\/strong>(Charg\u00e9 de Recherches CNRS, CEREGE) avec de nombreux collaborateurs issus de laboratoires fran\u00e7ais et \u00e9trangers.\u00a0<\/p><h3><strong>Axes de recherche<\/strong><\/h3><p>Le projet comporte six volets parall\u00e8les :<\/p><ul><li><p>le raffinement de l&#8217;enregistrement pal\u00e9ontologique des primates et rongeurs N\u00e9otethysiens de l&#8217;Eoc\u00e8ne.
