N\u00e9anmoins, son utilisation est souvent limit\u00e9e par les larges incertitudes li\u00e9es \u00e0 la difficult\u00e9 des mesures des concentrations en 26Al par Spectrom\u00e9trie de Masse par Acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur (SMA).<\/p><p><br \/>Le radionucl\u00e9ide cosmog\u00e9nique \u00e0 vie longue 26Al (T1\/2 = 701 ka) peut \u00eatre mesur\u00e9 par SMA car l&#8217;interf\u00e9rent isobarique 26Mg peut \u00eatre efficacement supprim\u00e9 dans la source d&#8217;ions. En effet, alors que l\u201926Al produit des ions 26Al-, le 26Mg qui ne produit pas d\u2019ions n\u00e9gatifs est totalement supprim\u00e9. Les mesures d\u201926Al souffrent toutefois souvent du faible rendement d\u2019ionisation de l\u2019Al en Al-, ce qui affecte la pr\u00e9cision des rapports 26Al\/27Al mesur\u00e9s.<\/p><p><br \/>Pour am\u00e9liorer l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de la mesure de l\u201926Al une possibilit\u00e9 est d\u2019augmenter le rendement de production des ions n\u00e9gatifs dans la source d&#8217;ions. Or, le rendement d&#8217;ionisation de l\u2019esp\u00e8ce mol\u00e9culaire AlO- est au moins un ordre de grandeur sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de l\u2019esp\u00e8ce atomique Al-, mais l\u2019interf\u00e9rent isobarique MgO- \u00e9tant alors \u00e9galement produit. La s\u00e9paration de ces isobares devient alors imp\u00e9rative.<br \/>Afin de garantir un taux de comptage compatible avec les performances des d\u00e9tecteurs utilis\u00e9s (chambre d&#8217;ionisation \u00e0 gaz multi-anodes), il est donc n\u00e9cessaire de r\u00e9duire l\u2019intensit\u00e9 de 26Mg de plusieurs ordres de grandeur avant le comptage final de l\u201926Al.<\/p><p>La technique la plus pertinente et la moins p\u00e9nalisante en termes d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 consiste \u00e0 introduire un aimant rempli de gaz (GFM) devant le d\u00e9tecteur.<\/p><p>L\u2019ajout en cours d\u2019une ligne d\u2019analyse d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la mesure du nucl\u00e9ide cosmog\u00e9nique 26Al comportant un GFM permettra au LN2C de continuer \u00e0 produire des donn\u00e9es qui soient aux meilleurs standards internationaux<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50
