\"\"As part of the exhibition The Camargue between two waters<\/strong>the Mus\u00e9e de la Camargue from October 2023 to October 2025, the presentation of a new section \"Bras de Fer, a Rh\u00f4ne with a very brief destiny (1587-1711)<\/strong> was inaugurated on Friday 13 October at Mas du Pont de Rousty, the home of the Camargue Regional Nature Park in Arles.<\/em><\/p>\n

Because it traces the great natural mobility of the channels and coastline and sheds light on the processes involved in the creation of a delta, this former arm of the Rh\u00f4ne is today the laboratory for the interdisciplinary research of Claude VELLA (Senior Lecturer AMU- CEREGE), Jules FLEURY (Head of the Research Department at AMU- CEREGE), Jules FLEURY (Head of the Research Department at AMU- CEREGE) and Claude VELLA (Head of the Research Department at AMU- CEREGE). SIG\u00e9o<\/a>CEREGE), V\u00e9ronique RINALDUCCI (Archaeologist CNRS - LA3M), Philippe RIGAUD (Teacher) and Anna KHARLANOVA (Doctoral student CEREGE).<\/p>\n

\"Between two waters\" also refers to an indecisive situation where choices have to be made and adaptations have to be found. This is the case at a time when global warming is leading to a reduction in freshwater resources, salinisation of the soil, retreat of the coastline and an increase in the number of hitherto exceptional meteorological events. So it is, literally and figuratively, a Camargue between two waters that we are talking about here, both as a reminder of the solutions that have been found over the years, and as an attempt to explain the solutions that must now be sought, at a time when change is accelerating as never before.<\/p>\n
