As every year, the OHM Bassin Minier de Provence presents the research work funded by the CNRS research tool Labex DRIIHM. This year, the seminar will be held at **Plan de Meyreuil, Sale Jean Monnet on 9 and 10 November 2023**.

\nThe research work carried out over the last two years in the Bassin Minier area will be presented in the traditional way.
\nThe OHM BMP is also the OHM responsible for the cross-disciplinary ENERGON project (*Energy transitions and reconfiguration of socio-ecosystems: mobilising OHMs to produce an integrated methodology*) of the DRIIHM Labex, which brings together six OHMs. In the context of the conversion of the Gardanne-Meyreuil thermal power plant, the question of energy transition in this area is an important and topical one.
\nBefore the public consultation on the revised Hynovera project gets underway again, and with the launch of several consultations on energy transition projects in the Fos area, we thought it would be a good idea to combine the OHM's traditional seminar with a scientific day on this theme, extending the subject to the whole of the Sud-PACA region (see the full programme attached).
\nAs well as contributing new knowledge, the idea is to stimulate debate and discussion within the scientific community, and between it and all sections of society, in non-confrontational conditions and without preconceptions. The relationship between research and society is one of OHM's raisons d'\u00eatre.
