The **workshop \"\u00c9tude des Mati\u00e8res Organiques Arch\u00e9ologiques en r\u00e9gion PACA \"** (Institut-ARKAIA) will be held on **Tuesday 28 May** from 2 to 6 pm in Aix en Provence at the (https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/oqyEcJ3vR9eWE8WW9) in the Germaine Tillon amphitheatre.

\nArchaeometry is an essentially multidisciplinary scientific discipline. During the 24th Arch\u00e9om\u00e9trie - colloquium of the GMPCA (Groupe des M\u00e9thodes Pluridisciplinaires Contribuant \u00e0 l'Arch\u00e9ologie), organised by CEPAM in Nice in April 2023, it became apparent that several research teams in the Sud-PACA region were working in this discipline within different units (CEPAM, IMBE, CEREGE, etc.). So we thought it would be a good idea to organise a regional workshop to get to know each team's work better and to bring together the region's driving forces in this area of research.
