Les d\u00e9veloppements en imagerie et reconnaissance d&#8217;images d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s sur les <strong>microfossiles marins<\/strong> sont aussi applicables aux <strong>microfossiles continentaux<\/strong>, notamment sur les <strong>pollens<\/strong>. Cette approche, combin\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;expertise pal\u00e9oenvironnementale de l&#8217;\u00e9quipe en s\u00e9dimentologie lacustre ainsi que sur les pollens, phytolithes et diatom\u00e9es, nous sert \u00e0 reconstruire les <strong>environnements de vie des hominid\u00e9s plioc\u00e8nes d&#8217;Afrique de l&#8217;Est<\/strong>. Ces m\u00eames environnements sont aussi d\u00e9crits et \u00e9tudi\u00e9s sur la base de l\u2019\u00e9volution s\u00e9dimentologique des <strong>grands lacs au cours du Quaternaire<\/strong>.<br \/>Les<strong> environnements de savane et de for\u00eat<\/strong> ont un domaine d\u2019existence commun sur les crit\u00e8res de temp\u00e9rature et de pluviom\u00e9trie. Le passage d\u2019un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me \u00e0 un autre est donc r\u00e9gie par des sauts d\u2019un seuil stable \u00e0 un autre dans lequel le <strong>r\u00f4le des feux<\/strong> est primordiale. Cette \u00e9volution entre ces deux \u00e9tats stables est le c\u0153ur du projet de recherche de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/fr\/cerege\/julie-aleman\/\">Julie Aleman<\/a> (CR CNRS 2022).<br \/>L\u2019approche actualiste de l\u2019\u00e9tude de la <strong>dynamique du plancton marins<\/strong> \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du m\u00e9socosmes et saisonniers est importante pour l\u2019\u00e9quipe. Elle sera augment\u00e9e par l\u2019appui de <strong>donn\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques biog\u00e9ographiques<\/strong>. L\u2019action de l\u2019\u00e9volution biologique voir la r\u00e9troaction de cette \u00e9volution soumis aux for\u00e7ages astronomiques et\/ou climatiques est un axe de recherche. L\u2019<strong>\u00e9volution du nannoplancton calcaire<\/strong> au cours du Quaternaire est partiellement guid\u00e9 par les changements cycliques de l\u2019orbite terrestre modulant par ailleurs la productivit\u00e9 de ce plancton et ses <strong>r\u00e9troactions sur l\u2019environnement et le climat<\/strong>. \u00c0 plus grande \u00e9chelle de temps, les <strong>grandes crises et l\u2019apparition du plancton<\/strong> a fondamentalement impact\u00e9 le climat faisant de ces objets un objet d\u2019\u00e9tude important de cet axe th\u00e9matique.<br \/>L\u2019int\u00e9gration et la comparaison de <strong>donn\u00e9es g\u00e9ochimiques, tectoniques et biologiques<\/strong> aux sorties de <strong>simulations climatiques<\/strong> port\u00e9es par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/fr\/cerege\/yannick-donnadieu\/\">Yannick Donnadieu<\/a> a permis le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un p\u00f4le innovant investiguant les <strong>liens entre tectonique, climat et biota<\/strong> aux longues \u00e9chelles de temps (cycles orbitaux et au-del\u00e0). Le financement en 2022 du projet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/fr\/sciences\/climat\/projets-climat\/erc-cog-dispersal\/\">ERC-CoG DISPERSAL<\/a> (port\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cerege.fr\/fr\/cerege\/alexis-licht\/\">Alexis Licht<\/a>) capitalise sur ce d\u00e9veloppement. Ce projet propose une approche int\u00e9grative (g\u00e9ochimie, pal\u00e9ontologie, pal\u00e9og\u00e9ographie, simulations climatiques) pour comprendre les<strong> contr\u00f4les climatiques et g\u00e9ographiques sur les dispersions des mammif\u00e8res du pass\u00e9<\/strong>.
