La fracturation, l&#8217;initiation, la propagation et la r\u00e9activation des failles, la diagen\u00e8se tectonique, sont autant de ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes o\u00f9 la dynamique des couplages fluide \/ m\u00e9canique intervient. <\/p><p>Nous accordons une attention particuli\u00e8re \u00e0 la caract\u00e9risation des r\u00e9seaux de fractures et de leur r\u00f4le dans les migrations de fluide de l&#8217;\u00e9chelle de l&#8217;affleurement \u00e0 celle du bassin, aux processus de couplage hydrom\u00e9canique, abord\u00e9s par l&#8217;exp\u00e9rimentation in situ dans les zones de faille, \u00e0 l&#8217;imagerie g\u00e9ophysique et \u00e0 la reconstruction 3D\/4D de structures g\u00e9ologiques complexes (e.g. zones de faille, tectonique salif\u00e8re, structures compressives cach\u00e9es\u2026).<\/p><p>Les principaux basins \u00e9tudi\u00e9s sont le Bassin du Sud-Est et l&#8217;avant-pays pliss\u00e9 Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9o-Alpin de Provence, les syst\u00e8mes d&#8217;avant-arc P\u00e9rou et Equateur, les Bassin de la Mer de Marmara, de la Mer Noire, et d&#8217;Adana, et les cha\u00eenes pliss\u00e9es des Pontides et de Crim\u00e9e. Dans le domaine exp\u00e9rimental, suite aux exp\u00e9riences men\u00e9es sur des failles argileuses sur la p\u00e9riode (2012-2017), l&#8217;objectif phare sera l&#8217;\u00e9tude hydrom\u00e9canique d&#8217;une faille d&#8217;\u00e9chelle comparable dans des roches carbonat\u00e9es (projet Albion 2).<\/p><p>Un autre type d\u2019\u00e9tude est la dynamique de syst\u00e8mes s\u00e9dimentaires thermohydro-m\u00e9caniques ou hydrothermaux telle que l\u2019\u00e9tude de la dynamique de volcans actifs (e.g. Le Piton de la Fournaise, Ile de la R\u00e9union\u00a0; Kawa Ijen, Indon\u00e9sie ,..). La recherche de failles drainantes, et le suivi de l\u2019\u00e9volution temporelle et spatiale du syst\u00e8me de fissuration et\u00a0des cellules hydrothermales en fonction de l\u2019\u00e9tat de pressurisation\/d\u00e9pressurisation du volcan, devient un atout majeur dans la pr\u00e9vision du risque volcanique.
