Thesis opportunities
Each year, the CEREGE teams propose several thesis topics open to applications.
Doctoral students completing their thesis at CEREGE join one of our research teams for a period of three years. They benefit from the full range of our scientific and technical expertise in their field, as well as an extensive network of national and international collaborations.
Depending on their contract, some doctoral students may also contribute to university teaching, particularly at undergraduate level, via a CME (Chargé de Mission d'Enseignement) contract.
Thesis funding
All theses are funded by a grant specifically awarded to the doctoral student for the duration of his/her research project. There are two types of funding:
Grants associated with research projects or industrial contracts : Candidates are selected as they come along, directly by the management teams.
Scholarships awarded by competition : The CEREGE has access to several types of funding within the framework of the doctoral schools " Environmental Sciences "and Spaces, Cultures and Societies ". They are awarded in July following a competition organised by these schools.
