By joining forces with other major national and international research structures and with industrial and technological players, CEREGE is now a centre of excellence in the field of geosciences.
CEREGE provides the academic and industrial scientific community with a range of high-tech resources.
CEREGE's teaching covers the entire spectrum of training in Earth and environmental sciences, from undergraduate to doctoral level.
Through the dissemination of its scientific communication, CEREGE aims to establish a permanent dialogue between science, research and the general public, especially the younger generation.
The National Laboratory for Cosmogenic Nucleides (LN2C) is a structure dedicated to the use of cosmogenic nuclides in Earth Sciences, notably through the preparation of samples and the measurement of cosmogenic isotopes.
SIGéo is the geomatics platform of the CEREGE Earth & Planets team. It is however transversal, open to all, and collaborates with all CEREGE teams and other laboratories.
The Magnetism, Materials and Terrain Geophysics (MMGT) platform belongs to the Earth and Planets team. It supports scientific projects mainly in planetology and magnetism, but also in archaeometry and palaeoenvironmental issues.
The Sedimentology analysis service, attached to the Earth and Planets team, brings together tools for taking samples from natural environments and provides support for palaeo-environmental research.
