I am a cold region geomorphologist and permafrost modeler. I am interested in measuring and modelling short- and long-term changes in cold landscapes using field measurements and dating techniques, sedimentology, remote sensing and numerical modelling. At the moment I'm investigating the connection between lake levels and thermo-hydrological changes in permafrost ground in Tibet. I also work with modelling frost weathering and erosion in periglacial areas, specifically plateau blockfields and blocky surfaces in Norway and Svalbard, using field measurements, numerical modelling, cosmogenic nuclide dating, geochemistry and remote sensing.
