GRAND SEMINAR - Didier Nectoux
11 December @ 1.30pm - 14h30
Title: Minerals in question, essential resources for our society
Since the dawn of humanity, rocks and minerals have been essential to the development of civilisations. In the 21st century, mankind seems to be totally dependent on minerals. The world of modern technology is increasing our need for rare earths and metals, as well as metals known since Antiquity. This conference will look at the geostrategic and environmental challenges of mineral raw materials in today's society from a geologist's perspective.
