As an international multidisciplinary research and teaching centre and a centre of excellence in terms of human and technical resources, CEREGE covers almost the entire field of environmental geosciences.
My research work concerns the evolution of continental surfaces either due to tectonics or climate forcing, or a combination of the two. My toolbox includes quantitative geomorphology, and cosmogenic nuclides (either in situ or atmospheric). I used to work in active geodynamical settings, mostly along convergent plate boundaries (Argentina, Iran, Morocco, Taiwan). I now develop a research program in Brazil to study long term landscape evolution and global change impacts on continental surfaces.
