Geochemist specialist intransition metal isotopyI have been working for a long time on 'deep earth' (e.g. subduction) and 'earth before I moved on to the environment. I work on the metal transfer (Cd, Fe, Zn, Cu) in the soil/rhizosphere/plant continuum and their fate in agricultural plants. I study the link between isotopic composition and metal speciation in order to to provide information on the mechanisms affecting them (e.g. assimilation, storage, detoxification...). This work combines mass spectrometry and X-ray absorption spectroscopy on a synchrotron line.
