My research focuses on the long-term effects of climate change and anthropogenic activities on freshwater ecosystems. I have a specialty in paleolimnology and in the use of silicified microorganisms (diatoms) and geochemistry (oxygen and silicon isotopes) to reconstruct lake/watershed interactions, paleohydrology and chemical soil erosion.
