Geochemistry of surface environments (soils and weathering systems)

Since I joined INRAE in 2015, my work is mainly focused on soil carbon dynamics. In particular, I focus on the control of organic matter dynamics by organo-mineral interactions. This work is based on combinations of geochemical (elemental and isotopic) and spectroscopic approaches as well as on imaging approaches at micro and nano scales.

During my career, I have also worked on the geochemistry of dust trapped in Antarctic ice in relation to paleoclimatic variations and on the use of Si isotopes as a proxy for its biogeochemical cycle.
