CEREGE is a public laboratory, which aims to make its activity known to a school and university public interested in Earth Sciences. High school classes regularly visit the laboratory's specific technical facilities. CEREGE regularly welcomes secondary school students for observation courses or professional discovery courses.

Observation internships are aimed at secondary school students (under 18 years of age). They are organised within the framework of the French National Education system and generally last three to five days. They enable students to discover the workings of CEREGE and the professions, through observation and discussion with the professionals who work there.

The objectives are:

  • discover the organisation and functioning of the laboratory
  • discover the different research professions
  • to enrich and reformulate one's professional project on the basis of the experience gained.
