Seraphin Pierre

Hydrogeologist by training, my PhD and recent post-doctoral positions allowed me to obtain expertise in groundwater modeling but also to familiarize myself with various tools to better constrain these models: geostatistics, geomatics, geophysics, geochemistry...
During these years, I have worked to perfect my study of diverse hydro-systems: from the aquifers of the north and south of France, to the basaltic aquifers of tropical islands, and to the " fossil " aquifers of the Maghreb and Arabian deserts. These field missions allowed me to master many measurement techniques covering all the compartments of the water cycle.
This academic background has nevertheless allowed me to apply my research to concrete environmental issues, emanating from requests from the state, private funders and local authorities.
